Notes: Created a layout that for English text, using Adobe’s Minion Pro a classic looking font that is quite popular for American published books. The font is a stark departure from Times New Roman, Garamonds, and Baskerville. Given its readability it suited long academic texts. However the font lacked glyphs needed for transliteration and additional glyphs were created. The Arabic text went through several iterations and given the sensitivity of the topic it was decided to use the original published which was re-sized to fit and re-flowed at the back of the book as it would be in Arabic publications (right to left). The book size is 6×9 which is a standard North American book size to match many of the publishers other titles.
