Notes: Created a layout that for English text, using Adobe’s Minion Pro a classic looking font that is quite popular for American published books. The font is a stark departure from Times New Roman, Garamonds, and Baskerville. Given its readability it suited long academic texts. However the font lacked glyphs needed for transliteration and additional glyphs were created. The Quranic Arabic text used is from Quran Complex in Medina is used prior to translation and commentary. The book size is 6×9 which is a standard North American book size to match many of the publishers other titles However in this case it was enlarged and printed in alternate size.
